Study in Australia
Australia is well-known across the world for being one of the most diverse and hospitable countries. Almost half (47 percent) of Australia's 24 million people were born overseas or had one parent who was born overseas, with more than 260 languages spoken in Australian homes. Aside from English, the most commonly used languages are Mandarin, Italian, Arabic, Cantonese, and Greek. Australia is the world's biggest island, the sixth-largest country by land area, and the only government in the world that has complete sovereignty over a whole continent. There are around 500 national parks and over 2,700 conservation areas, which include anything from animal sanctuaries to Aboriginal reserves.
With a comparatively young Education system, Australia has six of the world’s top universities, namely, The University of Melbourne, the Australian National University, the University of Sydney, the University of Queensland, the University of New South Wales, and Monash University. Their education system is ranked number 8 in the Universitas 2019 U21 Ranking of National Higher Education System. Over 22,000 courses are offered by over 1,100 universities. With more than 2.5 million international Alumni, the universities in Australia have also produced 16 Nobel Laureates.
