Kirov State Medical University is the most juvenile higher medical institution in the Russian Federation (It was founded in 1987). KSMU has the facilitated campuses with well-equipped lecture halls, computer classrooms, science library with a collection of more than 200 000 books, educational media-library, and electronic database. Manipulative skills center is one of the classes that students need to enhance their skills of performing injections, CPR and lots of other procedures. The clinic of the University also has a therapeutic and neurological station that comprises 100 beds and a diagnostic centre. The polyclinic and the clinic have modern equipment. The rooms of patients, laboratories and procedure rooms are improved in terms of modern standards. KSMU is truly an international university students of various countries of the world study in it: Sudan, Vietnam, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Ghana, DR Congo, Uganda, Nigeria, Mali, Tunisia. Other former Soviet Union republics (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan) are the home to the students who would go to KSMU to earn their degree.
