Study in New Zealand

The North Island and the South Island are the two primary islands that makeup New Zealand. The North Island, which also contains the country's capital city, Wellington, is home to more than 90% of New Zealand's population. New Zealand's scenery is exceptional in its natural beauty, despite the fact that it is a country with no land borders in the Pacific Ocean. Its terrain, which includes towering mountains, long and meandering rivers, broad plains, spectacular beaches, and large swaths of agriculture, provides the ideal setting for lifestyle and recreational activities. New Zealand has a population of about 4.7 million people and is mostly made up of two cultural groups: the Maori, who are descendants of Polynesian immigrants, and people of European descent. The history of the country has been heavily affected by Maori, European, Pacific Islander, and Asian cultures, rendering it a multicultural nation. New Zealand as a country has recently poured money into its education system, which uses a comparable but similarly certified system to the British one.

New Zealand is an excellent location for overseas students, with a high-quality educational system. All of its institutions comply with worldwide standards and are frequently assessed and overseen by the government in order to ensure a consistently good education regardless of where you choose to study. Being New Zealand a member of the Lisbon Recognition Convention, its certificates, diplomas, and degrees are recognized in all 50 participating nations. While New Zealand's education system is significantly influenced by that of the United Kingdom, it is less expensive. In addition, there are other scholarship opportunities available to assist and support your study. New Zealand allows students to work part-time while studying, enabling the students to take care of their expenses by themselves. One can also stay and work for a full year after graduating, two years if the job is relevant to the degree acquired after which you can apply for permanent residency.

The total cost of living including the tuition fees varies based on the college or university, choice of course, location, type of accommodation, and lifestyle. Tuition fees range from NZ$ 24,000 to NZ$ 34,000 for undergraduate courses, from NZ$ 28,000 to NZ$ 40,000 for postgraduate courses with higher fees for courses such as medicine and veterinary science. A doctoral degree costs about NZ$ 6,500 to NZ$ 9,000, the same as the New Zealand students. Accommodation would vary between NZ$ 200 to NZ$ 350 per week. Students can work while studying part-time for up to 20 hours a week during the semester and holidays.
